I think most people don't like this movie because it's not how they pictured it to be like based off the book. I also noticed after watching the movie that it is much more mature than the book it's based off of. In truth it is not intended for everyone especially most teenagers because it's not flashy or for whatever other reason teenagers watch. I believe this movie can only really be appreciated by a mature audience. This movie got you up close and personal to the people in the film it focused more on intensity and being up close and personal. I like how they didn't protraye the characters in the movie to be underdeveloped and stupid and I enjoyed the movie a lot more than I did the book and I actually didn't like the book and thought most of the characters to be boring but in the movie they really brought it top life I rather not have read the book but watched the movie. And I also like the directing of this film. Overall I am sad to see that most people cant appreciate this movie for being a good movie but instead see it as a let down to the book. I am also sad to see it be rated so poorly by people because of the immaturity of there age otherwise this film can be appreciated.

One scene will forever stick in my mind. Bella wakes up in the middle of the night to find Edward in her bedroom unexpectedly. She asks him why he's there. He responds, I like to watch you sleep. She just accepts it and goes back to sleep. This single scene probably sums up the entirety of Twilight for me - Edward is a predator, Bella is naive, their relationship is contrived, the author doesn't know how human beings behave and I hate it all.
